Topiwala National Medical College & BYL Nair Charitable Hospital commemorated the Jayanti of Keshav Sitaram Thackeray (Prabodhankar Thackeray) with due respect and reverence. The programme was attended by the Dean, faculty members and staff of the institution, who paid floral tribute to the eminent social reformer and writer. Keshav Sitaram Thackeray, popularly known as Prabodhankar Thackeray, was a prominent social reformer, writer and orator who worked extensively for social equality, eradication of caste-based discrimination and progressive reform in Maharashtra. His writings and social activism continue to inspire generations.
